Responsibilities:

As the Automation Team Lead, you will:

Lead QA Efforts: Execute and supervise all QA efforts, both manual and automation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Team Development: Bring up the entire QA domain, taking on Manual and Automation QA efforts, and play a pivotal role in hiring, training, and leading Manual and Automation QA Engineers.

Test Planning: Develop, implement, and execute test plans to guarantee the highest quality of our code and products.

Automation Technology: Develop automation technology, evaluate, choose, and utilize test automation frameworks and tools.

Work Planning: Participate in the work planning process to determine the needs required for the timely delivery of product features.

Results Analysis: Analyze formal test results to discover and report defects, errors, configuration issues, etc.

Metrics Establishment: Establish metrics to determine the readiness, quality, and operability of software, systems, and products.

Team Management: Manage all functions of the QA team, including hiring, performance evaluation, timekeeping activities, etc.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Related Technical Field/Equivalent Experience.

Experience: Hands-on experience as a Manual and Automation QA Engineer (6 years+), with managerial experience in manual and automated QA (3 years+).

Testing Proficiency: Mastering testing methodologies, experience with test documentation (STP/STD).

Scripting Skills: Experience in writing and working with Python scripts/frameworks.

Automation Frameworks: Proven proficiency in Automation frameworks (e.g., Unittest, PyTest, etc.).

Technical Background: Technical background and a wide system view with in-depth analysis capabilities.

Linux Skills: Basic Linux OS administration skills.

CI/CD Processes: Experience in CI/CD processes with Jenkins (huge advantage).

Cloud Experience: Experience with Cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS (advantage).

Version Control: Familiarity with code management tooling such as Git, Github (advantage).

Startup Experience: Record of being the 1st QA/automation person in a startup or building automation from scratch (big advantage).

ML/DL Knowledge: Experience in ML/DL companies (big advantage).
