Israel Gave Gaza Every Chance in the Book

For personal context, in Israel I am considered a "bleeding-heart liberal". I voted for far-left political parties, the Israeli equivalent of Bernie Sanders.

For historic context, as part of my military service as a young cadet in '05 I participated in the Israeli Army's forced evacuation of the Gaza Strip. We unilaterally and forcibly removed all Israeli settlers and settlements -- in order to give the Gazan people complete autonomy over their land and self-governance.

I remember the summer of '05 in Gaza. It was hot, humid, and beautiful. The Gaza beach is a beauty.

Gaza Chose Fundamentalist Terrorism

Gazans did not choose to use their independence for state-building. They chose it for terrorism. Hamas took power and has dedicated the 18 years since the Israeli Disengagement to build nothing but war machines. Tunnels, rockets, weaponry.

Hamas routinely fires rockets on Israeli cities indiscriminately. Hamas is a terrorist organization, which also practices kidnapping civilians, blowing up busses, and blowing up restaurants and cafes. It is responsible for many, many civilian deaths.

The name Hamas is an acronym for "resistance movement". They have no goals except "resisting" Israel, which means killing all the Jews and throwing them into the sea. This is part of Hamas charter.

Hamas was never looking for peace. They are murderous terrorists of the Al-Qaeda branch of evil.

October '23

In October '23 Hamas launched a surprise attack against Israel. They drove the 2 miles separating Gaza from the nearby Israeli settlements, invaded and attacked civilians in their homes.

They massacred every civilian they could find.

They broke into homes and killed families.

They kidnapped men, women and children.

The women were paraded in the streets of Gaza. Stripped naked, humiliated.

The children were torn from their parents, to be bullied publicly.

Hamas are an evil organization.

Hamas practice war crimes routinely.

Hamas are as bad as ISIS and Al-Qaeda.

The IDF must destroy them.

Stand with Israel.
